PAINTED PONY
![]() ![]() My late horse MISS COPPERTONE and myself in California (1990). Coppertone was a registered Pinto. Trained in Dressage, English, Western and Show. We rode many dusty trails together in the High Desert of California. Placed First in several parades and shows! We made a lot of memories together. She made me so Proud~ I am writing my first book this year, 2010, which is about all the horses in my life over the years. Miss Coppertone is in the book of course. Watch for details. This website is run solely by me and paid for yearly. If you would like to help support this website and have a space of your own here, or an ad for your business, please contact me to discuss the options. The following seemed Fitting since I love Horses so much. You know you are a horseperson when: -You cluck to your car when you go up a hill. -Your horse's hair is in better condition than your own. -You refer to your car as "my portable tack room". -You are exited when your friend tells you that there is a huge sale at the bridle shop, then you are dissapointed when you realize they mean the bridal shop. -You have the vet's number but not your kid's pediatrician on your speed dial. -Your spouse can track dirt into the house all they want, but God help them if they muddy up the tack room." Author Unknown This is one of my Roy Rogers purses which I love. ![]() Here I am wearing my new Roy Rogers & Trigger T-shirt which was a gift from Buffalo Gal. Isn't it fabulous!!! ![]() ![]() This Roy Rogers and Trigger T-shirt can be purchased via the official Roy Rogers website and online Gift Shop: www.royrogers.com Not only am I a big fan of Roy Rogers. I also love horses!!! In my (rare) free time I enjoy solving crossword puzzles. MY BABY PHOTOS Here's an interesting thought. What celebrity does your looks favor? I checked this out and found out my looks resemble Sally Field, Elvis Presley and the above. Tree PHOTOS July 2006~ ![]() The Oak tree that fell unexpectedly on May 31, 2006. It was 88 degrees with no wind or rain! Even though the tree was alive it obviously was not thriving or healthy. Thankfully no harm came to anyone. ![]() It took out some of our pasture fence as you can see in this photo. ![]() The trunk of the fallen tree. Notice how near the dogpen that the tree fell? Due to the nature of the way that the tree fell and is now positioned it's not safe for anyone to be around it to be chopping or sawing on it other than qualified tree service employees. At this time we're waiting on the availability of a tree service. During this time of year it seems that they're very busy. The cost for tree removal is estimated near $1,000.00 and includes cutting up some of it for our woodburner stove. No hauling debris away though. JUNE: Finally the tree is all cut up. We have plenty of cut firewood for our woodburner during the winter. It's neatly stacked ready for use. There's still a lot left for our friends who need fire wood too. ![]() Our Firewood Stack ![]() The burn pile in the very back pasture. You can bet that when this wood is dried out we'll have a big fire going. ![]() The same burn pile. ![]() Take a peek at Our Garden and Flowers here.
